2010 Teacher In-Service Workshops

Raccoon Creek State Park offers Teacher In-Service workshops every year.   If you’re a public school teacher contact IU #27 to register.   All listed workshops are one credit.

January 30 Winter Ecology Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm This course will take an often overlooked and seldom seen view of the natural world in winter.   We will explore the many intriguing interactions that occur in nature during the winter season.   Ideas for student activities and field studies of the winter landscape will be covered. The majority of this course is outdoors so participants should dress appropriately.
